A North Dakota native and visual artist, Onesti specializes in oil and acrylic abstracts. Her passion for art was sparked in childhood and has only grown deeper over the years. For Onesti, art is more than a subject—it’s a way of experiencing and interpreting the world. She believes beauty and inspiration exist everywhere, in everything.

Guided by a mission to share her love of art and highlight its transformative power, Onesti seeks to uplift others and foster connection—especially within North Dakota communities. Her work has been exhibited at the Mondak Heritage Center, The Old Armory, and The James Memorial Art Center, and she has generously donated pieces for the public to enjoy. She has also been a featured artist at the Art and Wine Walk in Williston, ND more than five times, sharing her work with the community through this beloved annual event.
 

As a proud member of the Williston Area Visual Artists (WAVA), she regularly participates in group exhibitions, including WAVA’s Quarterly Challenge showcases. Onesti studied art at Williston State College and Moorhead State University. She also served for five years on the board of the North Dakota Council on the Arts—first as a board member and later as an executive board member—helping shape arts policy and advocacy across the state. While she no longer serves on the board, her leadership and contributions continue to influence the arts community.
 

In addition to serving on several local arts committees, Onesti is the founder of Transition Painting LLC, a licensed and insured contractor in Williston, ND. Her portfolio spans bold abstract canvases layered with texture and color, prairie-inspired landscapes, and works in realism and impressionism. Each piece is created with heartfelt intention and a fearless artistic vision.
